Terms and Conditions

3.1 Core function.

The Service provides an AI-assisted chat experience that may retrieve and reference information from a curated corpus that can include Third-Party Content from public sources (e.g., YouTube, public blog posts, public web pages) and other materials.

3.2 Threads.

The Service may support different chat modes (for example: general chats and chats tied to specific sources such as a video or article). Some modes may show citations with timestamps and links to Third-Party Content.

3.3 Video playback.

If the Service embeds video content (e.g., via an iframe), your device may connect directly to that third party (e.g., YouTube) to load and play content. Your use of embedded content is subject to third-party terms and privacy practices.

3.4 Personalization / founder context.

If you provide optional profile/context information, the Service may use it to tailor Outputs. You are responsible for what you share.

4.1 Not advice.

The Service and Outputs are provided for informational purposes only and do not constitute legal, financial, tax, accounting, medical, investment, employment, or other professional advice.

4.2 No reliance.

You agree not to rely on Outputs as a substitute for professional advice. You are solely responsible for decisions and actions you take.

4.3 AI limitations.

Outputs may be incorrect, incomplete, misleading, or outdated. Citations, snippets, timestamps, and links may be inaccurate or may change over time.

4.4 No confidentiality.

Do not submit confidential information. The Service is not designed for confidential communications and does not create any fiduciary, advisory, or privileged relationship.

6.1 Account responsibility.

If you create an account, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of credentials and for all activity under your account.

6.2 Security best efforts, no guarantees.

While we use reasonable security measures, no system is perfectly secure. You accept the inherent risks of using an online service.

6.3 Compromised accounts.

If you believe your account or device is compromised, you must notify us promptly at deniz@joinmyla.com.

7.1 Anonymous sessions.

The Service may allow anonymous use. Anonymous sessions may be authenticated via tokens stored on your device. Tokens are your responsibility to protect.

7.2 Device storage.

The Service may store session-related information in your browser storage (e.g., localStorage). This data is not guaranteed to be encrypted. If someone gains access to your device/browser profile, they may access session state.

7.3 Loss of access.

If you lose your anonymous token or clear device storage, you may lose access to prior anonymous chats. We are not responsible for such loss.

8.1 Rate limits and restrictions.

We may impose limits (message caps, IP-based throttling, thread creation caps, body size limits) and modify them at any time.

8.2 No circumvention.

You must not bypass limits or security controls (including via automation, scraping, repeated account creation, token manipulation, proxying, or any other circumvention).

8.3 Suspension/termination.

We may suspend or terminate access immediately if we suspect abuse, fraud, or violations of these Terms, or to protect the Service, users, or third parties.

9.1 You own your content; you are responsible.

You are solely responsible for User Content you submit, including ensuring it is lawful and that you have the rights to provide it.

9.2 Prohibited content and conduct.

You must not use the Service to:

• violate any law or regulation,
• infringe intellectual property or privacy rights,
• harass, abuse, or harm others,
• distribute malware or attempt unauthorized access,
• attempt to extract secrets, system prompts, or exploit vulnerabilities,
• generate or disseminate harmful or illegal instructions.

9.3 Monitoring and moderation.

We may monitor, review, and remove User Content or restrict access to the Service at our discretion (including for legal, safety, or operational reasons).

10.1 Storage.

Messages, Outputs, and associated metadata (such as citations, snippets, query rewrite metadata, and timestamps) may be stored to provide the Service, maintain history, prevent abuse, and improve quality.

10.2 Operator access.

Authorized personnel at Altflow may access conversation logs and related metadata for:

• support and troubleshooting,
• abuse prevention and security,
• quality improvement,
• legal compliance and enforcement of these Terms.

10.3 Deletion/hiding.

“Delete” features may be implemented as soft deletion (hiding). Data may remain in our systems for operational, compliance, safety, or legal reasons unless and until permanently deleted under our retention practices.

11.1 Third-Party Content is not ours.

The Service may reference, cite, or link to Third-Party Content from public sources (e.g., YouTube or blogs). We do not control and are not responsible for Third-Party Content availability, accuracy, legality, or changes.

11.2 Links and timestamps.

Links, timestamps, and snippets are provided for convenience and may break or become inaccurate.

11.3 Takedown requests.

Contact deniz@joinmyla.com with:

• the URL(s) and identifying details (thread/message identifiers where possible),
• what you want removed and why,
• proof of authority if applicable.

We will review and may remove or restrict content at our discretion.

12.1 Our IP.

The Service (software, UI, branding, prompts, and underlying systems) is owned by Altflow or licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws.

12.2 License to use.

We grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service in accordance with these Terms.

12.3 License from you.

You grant Altflow a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, process, reproduce, and display your User Content solely to provide, maintain, secure, and improve the Service and enforce these Terms.

13.1 No uptime guarantee.

The Service may be unavailable, interrupted, or error-prone. We do not guarantee uptime, latency, or data preservation.

13.2 Changes.

We may change features, limits, models, prompts, or the corpus of Third-Party Content at any time.

13.3 Discontinuation.

We may suspend or discontinue the Service (in whole or part) at any time without liability.

14.1 No liability for security incidents (to the fullest extent permitted by law).

You acknowledge that cyber incidents can occur. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Altflow shall not be liable for:

• unauthorized access to the Service or your data,
• hacking, malware, denial-of-service attacks,
• data loss, corruption, or exfiltration,
• third-party security failures,
• any resulting damages or losses.

14.2 Your safeguards.

You are responsible for maintaining appropriate security on your devices and accounts and for backing up any important information.

16.1 No liability where excludable.

Altflow shall have no liability for any losses or damages arising out of or in connection with your use of (or inability to use) the Service, including reliance on Outputs, citations, snippets, timestamps, links, or Third-Party Content.

16.2 Excluded damages.

Altflow shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, business, goodwill, opportunities, contracts, savings, or data.

16.3 Cap where not excludable.

Where liability cannot be excluded as a matter of law, Altflow’s total aggregate liability for all claims shall be limited to the greater of (a) £1 and (b) fees paid by you (if any) for the Service in the three (3) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

16.4 Non-excludable carve-outs.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for:

• death or personal injury caused by negligence,
• fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation,
• any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.
